WHO we ARE
Bapuji Rural Enlightenment and Development Society (BREDS) was established In the year 1983, few like-minded people who were inspired by Gandhian philosophy of Grama Swaraj formed BREDS to cherish humanistic values fired by the twin ideals of cooperation and self-help. The Nature of the Organization is Registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (India). Our target groups are The vulnerable communities of Andhra Pradesh and Orissa with special focus to women, children school dropouts ,unemployed youth and farmers.
Mission
To capacitate the communities to become better informed and enlightened of their rights and choices in order to control the environment, resources and levels of power. To strengthen the institutional base necessary for social transformation and to bring positive change in the quality of life of marginalized communities.
Vision
To realize the Gandhian Dream of “GRAM SWARAJ” by building a network of autonomous village communities which are self-sufficient and self-reliant

Technical consultancy support
BREDS is now offering Technical consultancy support to SERP, GoAP for APRIGP (World Bank Funded) and National Rural Livelihoods Mission project (GoI)project in Andhra Pradesh.

Collaborative Partner's
BREDS has strong collaborative partners’ i.e Centurion University and gramtarang Inclusive Development Services (GTIDS) to execute any development project or consultancy services across thirteen states in India with its network presence.
